Our Teaching Artists are professional musicians and graduates of the world's top conservatories and music education programmes. We are passionate educators who seek to enrich and inspire students through music.

Chief Executive - Tom Halpenny

​

Tom Halpenny has over 30 years of experience teaching music and working in child development. Tom is a world class guitarist and often performs internationally.

​

For over a decade Tom was the senior teaching artist and assistant director of a non-profit in New York City teaching large groups of children in the state and independent sector.

Tom holds a BA in music from The State University of New York. He also studied graduate level jazz composition and arranging at City College NY, as well as performing in ensemble classes led by legendary bass player Ron Carter.
